Ruby’s attempt to make up for her bad behaviour backfires this week, as Cain lashes out at his sly sister-in-law in a fit of rage!
The Dingles decide they can’t forgive Ruby’s irresponsible antics, but will a worrying health crisis for Caleb unite the clashing clan?
“She wasn’t anyone’s favourite person to begin with, but since Ruby injured Chas during a family row she’s made herself even more unpopular,” begins our Emmerdale insider. “Ruby insists it was an accident, yet it proves how impulsive and destructive she is. Chas is recovering from a double mastectomy, the last thing she needed was to be elbowed in the chest! Now Ruby knows she has making up to do…”
Deciding to throw money at the problem, resourceful Ruby splashes out on a job lot of expensive air fryers and gives them as gifts. Praying the revolutionary food prep product will do the trick, Ruby opens her heart to Lydia about how truly sorry she is for hurting Chas. This fails to wash with Cain, however, who grabs a sledgehammer and angrily smashes up the three gift-wrapped air fryers in front of his stunned family! Refusing to be beaten, Ruby launches the next phase of her operation. Seeing as Chas is at the centre of the drama, Ruby homes in on the lady herself and convinces her she really didn’t mean to cause any harm.
Eventually, Ruby’s pleas wear down the recovering landlady and she agrees to help her build bridges with Cain. Ruby arranges for her husband’s rowdy relatives to attend a gathering at the Woolie, where she’s
