Kerry destroys Amy & Matty’s big day!
WILL THE WEDDING BE CALLED OFF AFTER KERRY FAILS TO PAY THE BILL?
Amy and Matty’s wedding day is left hanging in the balance this week, after mother-of-the-bride Kerry fails to come up with the cash to pay for their wedding venue!
Having promised to foot the bill for Home Farm for her daughter’s big day, Kerry’s been desperately trying to come up with the readies, and hopes selling her prized diamond necklace will raise enough cash to pay for it. But after her jewellery fails to fetch a fortune, Kerry’s forced to break the news to Amy and Matty that she can’t actually afford to pay for their wedding…
“This has Kerry written all over it!” despairs Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays the bride-to-be. “When Amy finds out, she’s heartbroken because Kerry has reeled her in, and Amy started to trust her and believe her. She’s even asked her mum to walk her down the aisle – so when Kerry tells her the money isn’t there, Amy can’t believe she’s let it go this far.”
As the week of the wedding arrives, Amy and Matty are buzzing with excitement, neither quite believing that they’re on the verge of becoming husband and wife.
Meanwhile, wedding planner Suzy is chasing Kerry for the final down payment on the venue, completely unaware that Kerry doesn’t actually have the cash…
While Kerry scurries off into Hotten to sell her necklace, Amy and Matty head over to Home Farm for their wedding rehearsal. As Leyla and Suzy prepare the venue, Kim turns up and demands full payment for use of her home, leaving Leyla and Suzy panicking – while the happy couple remain oblivious to what’s going on!
Returning home empty handed, Kerry admits to Pollard that she can’t actually pay for the wedding. As Eric reels in shock, Kerry braces herself to tell Amy and Matty the terrible truth.
