SUFFERING IN SILENCE
My heart was in my mouth watching poor Yolande suffer after being assaulted by Pastor Clayton in EastEnders. Those scenes where she whimpered alone in the Square, trying to find somewhere to go, will haunt me. I’m so relieved she managed to tell Elaine. Powerful stuff.
HOT DESKING
I loved seeing ex-Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna (aka Carmel McQueen) in Corrie as Adam’s brief squeeze! She looked very different as glam businesswoman Rebecca, I barely recognised her. Her role seemed to involve showing up, snogging Adam and going home – what a job! I’d love to see her return to the cobbles again.
It brings me joy to see actors do a soap swap! I wonder who’ll pop up on the Street next?
CUSTODY BATTLE
Rhona’s fight for custody of Ivy in Emmerdale has me torn. It was a total violation for Gus to steal her embryos but their ugly fight for Ivy has made me go right off Rhona! She’s coming across as mean and entitled – let’s not forget Gus has lost his wife and is off to prison…
It’s bringing out the worst behaviour in all of them!

Chelsea in Neighbours might be one of the most evil characters ever to grace Erinsborough, but she’s a brilliant watch! The way she orchestrated Krista’s drug relapse so soon after losing her baby is unbelievably cruel, but I can’t wait until she gets caught!
Oh, yes! Paul’s reaction when he finds out is bound to be huge...
10 YEARS AGO!
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since Lucy died in EastEnders! I was expecting a bigger fanfare than a small gathering in the Vic, especially now that Cindy’s back in their lives. It was a bit awkward having Bobby there too considering he’s the reason Lucy’s dead!
But we did hear from Cindy Jnr via text – let’s hope she’s on her way home!
