Yolande is terrified Pastor Clayton has his sights set on Chelsea this week – and she rushes to save the young mum!
However, Yolande’s strange behaviour towards the church raises eyebrows at home, and soon her family are concerned there’s something very wrong…
“Yolande’s blood runs cold when she learns Chelsea is alone with Pastor Clayton,” reveals our Walford insider. “She’s the only one on the Square who knows what he’s capable of. He’s pretending to be a man of God, but in reality he’s the Devil in disguise!”
Since Pastor Clayton sexually assaulted her, Yolande can’t face going to her church group. And when her absence is mentioned in passing by one of the church goers, Levi, Denise and Patrick are shocked at Yolande’s outburst.
With nowhere else to seek solitude, Yolande finds herself in the launderette. When Jean comforts her, Yolande becomes emotional, speaking about losing her faith. However, after their chat, she heads home with an idea – she wants to arrange Jordan’s baptism.
Yolande forges ahead with her plans, but frustrated Chelsea snaps and asks her to stop interfering. After a lecture from Denise and Patrick, remorseful Chelsea makes up with Yolande, leaving her delighted. Sadly, Yolande’s plans swiftly go awry when Chelsea bumps into Pastor Clayton and he insists on taking charge of the baptism, inviting the young mum to the community centre …
