Mackenzie’s desperate efforts to help her criminal boyfriend Haz end in tragedy this week – when she accidentally hits him with her car!
After Haz agrees to his blackmailer Wade’s demands, his housemates are stunned to find he’s vanished!
Desperate to track down her partner before he gets himself into any more hot water, Mac sets off in search of Haz – but disaster strikes…
“Haz runs out into the road, and Mac doesn’t have time to slam on the brakes!” gasps our Erinsborough insider. “Before she knows it, she’s hit Haz and he goes flying up into the air.
He lands in a crumpled heap, and Mac’s terrified she’s seriously hurt him – or worse.”
As the week kicks off, Mackenzie, Holly and Byron find Haz packing his bags up to leave, and are disappointed that he’s running away. They agree that Haz should accept the punishment for his past crimes, so they convince him to stay put and face the music. Or so they think…
Later on, Byron is shocked to discover that Haz has done a runner after all – he’s even left behind his dog Trevor!
