Not only is the truth about her illegal fostering of Britney exposed, her relationship with Zack has hit the rocks again. Can Bianca save the day for worried Whitney?
“Bianca is proud of Whitney for taking in Britney,” begins our EastEnders insider. “However, Zack wants his girlfriend to focus on her pregnancy and not get embroiled in this girl’s complicated life, which is causing problems for the pair. How would Zack react if he knew the risky lengths Whitney went to so she could foster Britney? We’re about to find out…”
When Bianca gets to her old stomping ground, she catches up with Sonia and meets Reiss for the first time, and she’s puzzled to learn Zack hasn’t been around for a few days. Clearly there’s trouble in paradise, so she heads to Whit’s flat to try to get to the bottom of it.
Zack arrives home and is subjected to an immediate grilling from bolshy Bianca. Is Britney’s presence still causing friction for the couple, or is something else going on?
Evasive Zack gets bored of Bianca’s badgering and goes to the Vic to speak to Whit, hoping to chat through their recent issues. However, their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of a lady Whitney has summoned called Wahida, whose son has Usher’s syndrome – the condition Britney was recently diagnosed with.
Whit is doing everything she can to learn more about the illness, to the point where it’s taking priority over Zack. During a meeting with Britney’s teacher to discuss the medical matter, passing Reiss innocently remarks that Whitney is not actually the young girl’s mother – unaware that this is news to the teacher!
Social services then pay a visit to ask how Britney has ended up living with Whitney, and the truth about the unofficial fostering arrangement is revealed.
