Hello, Claire! How is Kim coping with Rose making herself comfy at Home Farm?
I don’t think she’d put up with Rose for five minutes if it wasn’t for Dawn and the rest of the family! She’s fiercely protective of them, so she’s going to stand her ground. However, while Dawn’s there with Kim’s step-grandson, she’s going to put up with Rose until something goes horribly wrong, I guess.
After all your years playing Kim, is Rose any match for her?
I don’t think there are many people in the world who can match Kim [laughs]!
She’s like a lioness protecting her family if threatened – so I think I’d be rather afraid if I were Rose and I tried to force myself on Kim’s territory.
We’ve seen a softer side to Kim since she married Will, but could the real Kim Tate resurface?
There’s definitely been a softer side, but as we saw with Caleb, if Kim’s crossed, you’d better duck! That side of her is always lying just beneath the surface.
Are you content playing nice Kim? It’s great playing nice Kim because it adds layers and another dimension to her character, although naughty Kim is always more fun and has great oneliners. However, I think the audience is waiting for a reappearance of naughty Kim, and maybe they might have their chance soon…
