It’s a dark day for the Andersons this week, as Ethan drops to the floor – right before he’s due to appear in court!
As Ethan’s loved ones rally round to save him, doctor Manpreet comes to the rescue, trying to resuscitate him while Charles is left to watch on in horror. As time passes with no sign of a pulse, the vicar fears the worst. Will Ethan survive his shock collapse?
“Ethan’s not responding – and Charles is panicking!” shares Kevin Mathurin, who plays the scared dad. “Charles realises Ethan’s on the floor and he just goes into emergency mode. He knows a bit of CPR, but he’s relieved when Manpreet shows up…” This terrifying situation begins as Ethan faces his final hours of freedom before he’s due in court. He’s already been punished by the Dingles for leaving Nicky for dead after their car accident, but thanks to his father, he now faces his fate in the justice system.
However, when he overhears a concerning conversation between Ruby and Rose, Ethan’s worried about what this means for Dawn and whether he should tell her about the chat. Wanting to use his final hours of freedom wisely, but not knowing what to do for the best, Ethan seeks his dad’s counsel…
“Ethan’s very vague about it,” reveals Kevin. “But Charles gives some sound advice. It coincides with doing the right thing, which is the moral of the whole storyline.”
