Evil Nish returns to Walford this week, and blows his family apart with a huge confession – he’s dying!
Immediately suspicious, the Panesars refuse to believe him and kick Nish out. But as the businessman works his charm on the grandkids and they plead his case, will he be accepted back into the fold?
“Nobody believes Nish!” exclaims Navin Chowdhry, who plays the master manipulator. “This distrust is what he’s inspired within his own family. It’s an indication of what he’s capable of – after three months away he tells them he’s dying, and they don’t believe a word of it…”
Currently in the honeymoon phase of her new life with Eve, Suki is horrified when her ex-husband rocks up at No.41 without warning. Claiming his solicitor messed up and sent both copies of the divorce papers to him, Nish worms his way back into Suki’s life.
“Suki’s shocked and horrified,” admits Navin. “She’s sharing a loving moment with Eve, then suddenly Nish turns up. He has both divorce papers, and he also tells her they have something very important to talk about…”

After Nish’s shock reappearance, the hostile Panesars agree to change the locks – but it’s not long before he has a new plan and uses Avani to gain access. Once inside, Nish silences the family’s anger with the shock news that he’s terminally ill – and dying!
