The vulnerable café owner has been hanging on by a thread in prison – but appears to come a cropper this week when he’s held at knifepoint by evil Griff, who’s hell-bent on forcing Roy into confessing to Lauren’s murder!

“Vile Griff looks poised to drive a blade straight through the heart of Weatherfield if he follows through with his threat,” gulps our Corrie insider. “Roy’s loved ones will never forgive themselves if tragedy strikes before they’ve managed to clear his name and they lose him forever.”
Horrid Griff set about tormenting Roy after landing back in Weatherfield nick, following a stay at another prison. The pair have history after Roy challenged the far-right extremist’s views and made a mockery of him in public, before Griff’s plan to set off a bomb was foiled by brave Ayla.
