Sienna receives a frightening and nasty shock this week, when she discovers somebody has drugged her!
The bombshell coincides with the arrival of the mysterious Martha, who Sienna has absolutely no idea is her late dad Patrick’s mother – and her long-lost grandmother!
“Quite rightly, Sienna doesn’t trust anyone, and Martha is no exception!” reveals Anna Passey, who plays Sienna. “She appears right out of nowhere and seems very interested in Sienna. Although Sherrie Hewson, who plays Martha, is a tremendous new addition to the team, we feel so lucky to have her here!”
Waking up on the Love Boat after celebrating its sale, which she hopes will continue to fund her twins’ private education, groggy Sienna is suspicious to find bloodstains on her arm, with no memory of how they got there. She goes to hospital and nurse Peri finds traces of a sedative in her patient’s blood – but who has tried to poison terrified Sienna?
After their recent row over Rafe’s inheritance, Sienna immediately assumes James is behind the sick prank so she seeks him out and publicly accuses him. Watching from the shadows is Martha, a client of Dee Valley Law who first showed up the previous week, and who appeared to have a connection to Sienna…
Creeping unseen into the Love Boat while Sienna slept, Martha was seen sticking a syringe into Sienna and taking a sample of her blood! Now, Martha approaches Sienna and James during their ding-dong and makes herself known.
At first Sienna is baffled as to why Martha seems so interested in her, as she keeps asking questions about her background and family history. As events unfold, stunned Sienna soon learns the truth that Martha was the one responsible for drugging her at the Love Boat. Not only that, she and Martha also have the same surname!
