What drama have you most enjoyed watching on TV recently?
Welcome To Wrexham with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney is a fantastic watch, even if you hate the sport. I can’t wait for the Euros – I’ll be planning my routes so I can moor up near a pub for the England matches!
And what about comedy-wise?
Anything with Chris Morris, Armando Iannucci, Vic and Bob, or Rik [Mayall] and Ade [Edmondson]. And I’ve been impressed by Stath Lets Flats and Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, both on Channel 4.
What shows Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared did you watch growing up?
My brothers and I were transfixed by Mike & Angelo, Knightmare and Round The Twist. And Maid Marian And Her Merry Men made such an impression on me that I rewrote one of the episodes for my English class and got an A – so thanks, Tony Robinson!
Was there a kids’ cartoon you loved?
The Real Ghostbusters, ThunderCats, He-Man and the completely unhinged Ren & Stimpy Show – although you could argue it’s not really for children!
What’s your fave show to relax to?
