I was blown away by Kirsty-Leigh Porter’s performance in Hollyoaks when Leela and Joel lost their baby, especially knowing she went through a similar thing in real life. Emotional scenes must be tough for actors, but this was another level. Well done to her!

It was great to finally see another side to Corrie’s DS Lisa Swain after keeping things professional for so long. Despite her wrongful conviction of Roy, it was moving to hear about her partner’s death and the impact that has had on her life and her daughter’s. I’m hoping there might be a friendship brewing with Carla – if not more!

I really wasn’t expecting the twist with Ruby and Rose in Emmerdale. I have so many questions about how they know each other and for how long. But I’m confused about why Ruby is going to extremes when her own husband doesn’t seem to care about the Tate empire or Home Farm any more!

How brilliant was ladies’ night at The Vic? I loved seeing all those characters in the mix. Elaine has quickly become one of my favourite characters in EastEnders, especially now we’re seeing a more vulnerable side to her. When you see how broken she is under her loud, colourful persona, your heart breaks. George, you fool!
