There’s terror in the mountains for the Stone family this week, as Victor collapses on a family hike after pushing himself too far!
But witnessing Vic so unwell is an uncomfortable wake-up call for Jane – who realises she cares more for her ex-husband than she thought…
“It’s a frightening reminder of how ill Victor is, seeing him collapsed in the forest!” reveals our Neighbours spy. “To his family, Victor looks well and positive about the future – but this is the reality of his cancer diagnosis. This accident gives the whole family a new perspective.”
Having repaired their fractured relationship, Vic and his kids arrive in the Dandenong mountain range for a day out. Nicolette urges Victor to take it easy, but soon he’s struggling for breath…
Meanwhile, conflicted Jane makes an impulsive decision to join the trip, feeling guilty for rejecting Vic’s earlier offer. As Byron and Nicolette help their dad to the car park, he’s overjoyed to spot Jane’s car!
His excitement quickly dissolves at the thought of his ex-wife being lost somewhere in the mountain trails. Worried for Jane’s wellbeing, Byron and Nicolette search for their mum, ordering Vic to stay put.
