Freddie and Grace get ready to tie the knot this week – but this is no ordinary wedding!
The groom plans to spring the bride out of prison and go on the run with their kids, preferably before Warren takes revenge on the couple for trying to steal a fortune from under his nose!
With danger and drama threatening to derail the big day, will their bad romance have a good ending? Charlie Clapham, who plays Freddie, teases Hollyoaks’ action-packed nuptials…
Hi, Charlie! Why is Freddie starting to have doubts about going on the run?
He’s on a tightrope between fantasy and the rational world, and as he gets closer to the wedding, he realises you can’t have both. His conscience gets the better of him – he’s only just been reunited with his brother Robbie and his daughter Lexi, and he has that fear of going back to prison.
Tell us what happens when Warren attacks Freddie…
Freddie is trying to reach for the stars and get away, so of course Warren will drag him back down to earth! Their fight has so many levels to it – let’s just say we had a stunt co-ordinator on set quite a lot during filming…
Then Robbie shows up and helps Freddie get away…
The brothers have always been at each other’s throats, so to see them team up was great. It’s been a wonderful gift to reconnect with Charlie Wernham [who plays Robbie] – we grew up together when we started Hollyoaks 11 years ago. Us Roscoes were like a boy band, thrown together and put on this crazy journey!
