Play Xbox games

Got an Xbox Series S/X console and want to enjoy games on the go? You can stream them to an iPad

If you own an Xbox Series S or X, then there’s a good chance you will have signed up to Game Pass. It’s a monthly videogame subscription service from Microsoft that gives you access to a huge collection of games, and it’s an affordable way to not only play older games, but many fantastic new titles on day one of their release.

These are not confined to an Xbox console, though. With a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, it’s also possible to enjoy the games on the move by steaming them on an iPad – with the press of an app icon, all your favourites will be there.

Getting set up on your iPad is easy and you can even connect your Xbox wireless controller to play. This method makes use of the Xbox Cloud Gaming offering, for the ultimate in portability.

There are hundreds of games available to enjoy with Game Pass, all for a monthly fee
