Remember, in iPadOS 16 you have the ability to cancel emails and text messages after they have been sent. Here’s how…
IT WILL TAKE 5 minutes
YOU WILL LEARN How to unsend an email
YOU’LL NEED iPadOS 16
We’ve all sent a text message or email at some point and instantly regretted it. But once it’s been sent, that’s it, right? Thankfully not! One of the key features of iOS/iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura is that you can cancel the sending of digital correspondence within a certain time frame, or just snatch them back to make quick edits if you spot a typo, for example. It’s a very welcome safety net that can catch mistakes and allow you to abort the email or message completely if you have regrets about sending it. The key to executing this feature is to know the action you need to perform in both the Mail and Messages apps. Be warned though, you only have a limited amount of time to act before the message is sent proper and the other person can read it.
