3.8 lightweight flywheel
Fidanza now offers a performance lightweight aluminium flywheel that will fit all post XK150/Mk9 and pre 4.2 XK engines. The Fidanza design team first analysed the original flywheel to see where engineering improvements could be made. This flywheel is 40-60% lighter than standard and is machined from the highest quality aluminium, manufactured to deliver optimum tensile strength, heat dissipation and weight reduction. “By not becoming too light, poor idle and driving issues (as found with some of the ultra-lightweight competitors) are avoided,” they say.
Supplied with military grade fasteners for reliability and strength, stepped dowels, it comes with a replaceable hardened 1050 steel ring gear and a bolt-on replaceable heattreated friction plate. EFI fuel pressure regulators
Webcon has enhanced its range of fuel pressure regulators for electronic fuel injection systems with the introduction of an anodised black finish on a wide variety of its units.
Black anodised regulators are now available from 2.5 bar fixed rate up to 4.5 bar fixed rate and 0-5 bar adjustable regulators with a choice of single 8mm side feed, twin 8mm side feeds or single -6 AN fitting feed across the range.

XJ-S and XJ6/12 S2 reversing lamp upgrade
Better Car Lighting has launched an upgraded LED light kit for the reversing lights on the XJ6/12 Series 2 that are as bright as standard and incorporate additional features including high level brake lights and rear fog lights operated by a switch mounted inside the vehicle. A pair of new LED lightboards are supplied in this conversion kit, which replaces the standard bulb fixture for the reversing lights. BCL recommends replacing the foam gaskets for the entire reversing light lenses, also available at £12 from them.
