V12 crank sensor
Now available from British Parts is this crank position sensor for the V12 engine, as fitted to the 6.0-litre XJ40 and the 5.3- or 6.0-litre XJS. This sensor is required to determine ignition timing for the engine by calculating the correct position of the crankshaft, which in turn determines which cylinder is ready to be ignited.

Rear coilovers
Martin Robey is now stocking a range of Spax and GAZ rear coilovers for classic Jaguar saloons including the S-Type, 420, MkX and 420G. Each unit is supplied fully assembled, so it’s ready to be fitted. The Spax dampers are fixed rate, whereas the GAZ units are adjustable (30 settings via an adjuster knob on the body of the damper). Prices range from £151.46 including VAT (£140.10 for Privilege card holders) to £184.78 (£170.92 for Privilege card holders).

Torsion bar bracket
New to the range from SNG Barratt is this torsion bar ‘teardrop’ bracket for the E-Type’s reaction plates (part number C19379), which is precision machined in the UK using hardened EN16 high-tensile steel with a rotary broached machined centre. Suitable for the E-Type Series 1 and 2 and priced at £150.77 including VAT.
