I loved the look of this little owl pattern.

I looked in my massive yarn stash that I’ve been given and these two shades of blue stood out to me. I named him ‘Bluey’.

MOUSE IN THE HOUSE

Here is my blue mouse from issue 139. It was a lovely pattern to knit, thank you. I made him because he was so cute and a bit different, having his umbrella to make as well. He was for my husband, haha. He usually pinches the cute ones!

I chose Betty Bunny from issue 139 for my newborn due by the end of April this year. I actually hid a couple of bells in her head, so Betty will act as a little baby rattle. The fabric just seemed a perfect choice now spring has sprung and flowers are blooming everywhere.

I made my first topper for the postbox in my lane in Newport Pagnell for Easter 2020 to cheer people up during the first lockdown and I’ve made several since. The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee deserves to be celebrated and the lane is having a street party, so I thought it would be nice to have a fun topper as part of that.
