TRUE STRIPES
Hem’s playful striped grinders add a sculptural edge to a tabletop or kitchen shelf – we’re big fans of mixing and matching for a fun look. Made from beech wood and hand-painted, each piece has its own character.

SUSTAINABLE SEATING
As far as materials go, cork is incredibly underrated. Water-resistant, a n t imicrobial, biodegradable and sustainable, it’s hard to think of a better material to introduce to the bathroom – and that’s just what Italian bathroom brand Agape has done with two new designs by designer Marco Carini. The Rendez-vous bench and the Vis-à-vis stool (pictured) are intended to provide seating and make the bathroom a relaxing place to be. Both pieces are made from recycled cork from the production of wine bottle stoppers.

BATHE IN BEAUTY
We’re calling it: the newly-expanded I Catini collection, from artisan Italian ceramic manufacturer Ceramica Cielo, is the very definition of contemporary elegance. Designed by Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, the new pieces include washbasins, bathtubs, a shower tray and suspended sanitaryware. The freestanding bathtubs sit on metal feet; the Ofelia, pictured, includes a comfortable high backrest and a rim wide enough to balance a drink on. Note also the Tiberio washbasin cabinet – we adore the combination of colourful ceramic basin with luxe lacquered wood cabinet.
