THE LATEST LAUNCHES, LOOKS AND IDEAS EXCITING US NOW

BRIGHT IDEA

We’re always on the hunt for beautiful bathroom lighting, and Crosswater has nailed the brief with its versatile new collection – and the brand’s first foray into the world of illumination. Tranquil features three designs – a pillar, a pendant and a halo wall fixture – designed to enhance the mood of every bathroom. All three designs are splashproof with an IP-44 rating – and can be used in combination to create your dream lighting scheme.

PAINTERLY PIECE

Swiss bathroom company Laufen has updated its iconic Ilbagnoalessi collection, reminding us of just how beautiful the range is. The sweeping shape of the vanity washbasin reminds us of a swoosh of paint – and in matt black it looks particularly striking.

SCULPTURAL STATEMENT

Stone is a trending material for bathrooms, and Waterworks has us tempted to invest in the look with its new collection of Italian stone fixtures (although the price might make your eyes water). The Alatri bath is our top pick: available in Carrara, Arabescato, Calacatta, Statuario, Bardiglio, Caldia and Prunella, it’s hand finished with a flat band at the base and a gently eased lip.

Made from stainless steel with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic, it features five temperature settings, a quiet boil, a double-wall construction to retain heat and a removable limescale filter.

Simple, hardwearing and beautiful, the newly launched Ash collection from British kitchen cabinetry maker Olive & Barr is a joint celebration of the joys of natural wood and the timelessness of the Shaker style. The brand recommends pairing with other natural textures like sandstone and marble for a space that’s soothing and elegant.

WEAVE AWAY

As far as kitchen shelving goes, Pilgrim’s new Weft collection is a beauty. Handmade in-house by the brand’s founder, the collection – comprised of a cabinet and two sizes of shelving – is crafted from oak or ash. The intricate finish mimics that of woven fabrics, giving the piece abeautiful texture.

TACTILE TILES

Like glass blocks and textured wallpaper, mosaic tiles are a trend that’s back for 2024 – and we love the vibrancy they bring to a room. Balineum’s glass tiles are good for this: inspired by two David Hockney paintings of the
