PETER PAGE

We’re huge fans of Peter Page in Chelsea. Not only has he got some fantastic collections, he’s also just a total pleasure to deal with. We’ve recently revisited a house in Oxfordshire, which we designed 10 years ago, to do some tweaks now that the kids have grown up, and we put in one of his fab rugs, the Dee Maxi [part of acollaboration with Turner Pocock].

CHRISTOPHER FARR

If we’re really lucky and we’ve got a client who wants to invest – perhaps we’re treating it more as a piece of art on the f loor – then Christopher Farr’s designs are really special. He also does interesting outdoor rugs. While you can leave them outside, it isn’t wise in some weathers, so you have to be clever.

ADAM BRAY

Romanos has a crazy crush on Adam Bray, who has done wonderful collections for Peter Page and Vanderhurd; he’s hugely talented. We admire his use of colour and texture; when we look at his interiors, we always feel inspired. He’s just started a small collection with Soane Britain. He also has an antiques shop in Camden that sells wonderful textiles.

VANDERHURD

As you can tell, we are definitely drawn to colour; we’re also huge fans of natural jute, sisal, etc, particularly big chunky weaves with a lot of texture. Christine Van Der Hurd is just 60 seconds from our front door. We love everything she does, from her scatters –Romanos has themathisownhome–toherwonderful rugs and great collaborations.
