GREAT HORIZONS
This kitchen in a south London features an elegant mix of tactile finishes but dimensions also came into play with the design. ‘The ceiling is slightly low, so we designed the kitchen to f low the entire length of the space,’ says Liane Burrett, senior design consultant at Roundhouse, who worked with Kalli-A rchitecture &Design. ‘The very long horizontal forms allow the room to breathe.’
COPPER CRAFT
Floating above the sink area are cupboards wrapped in copper with an appealing antique patina, which brings a hit of warmth and further tactility to the kitchen. The oranget i nt e d metal bounces off the coordinating veining of the island’s striking Dekton marble-inspired surface, which integrates the radiant soft, natural tone with the block y dark shapes that define the space.
COFFEE CORNER
This luxurious nook dedicated to coffee making is surrounded by cabinet doors in a pale matt grey concrete finish, which pulls in light and merge
