CHROME IN COLOUR

Could pigmented chrome be the next big metallic trend? With the launch of Kupoli furniture by lighting studio Cameron Design House, we think so. Named after the Finnish word for ‘dome’, the curvaceous, bubble-like shape of the tables is addictively playful – as is the rainbow of finishes.

ETHEREAL CHIC

With 10 unique vases on offer, the new collection from Sophie Bille Brahe is the Danish jeweller y designer’s first foray into Murano – and what a way to begin. Each vase is handmade in Murano, Italy, featuring the brand’s escargot spiral shape in blush and pearl opaque tones. We’ll be dreaming of their ethereal look for nights on end.

Furniture and lighting firm Pinch is abrand that’s been on this writer’s wish list since forever – and with the release of its new Ewer light, there’s another design to lust af ter. Showcasing the bra nd’s dedication to craftsmanship and materiality, it’s the perfect simple, shapely addition to your lighting collection.

GET IN SHAPE

Henry Holland continues his conquest of the homeware world with a new collection of ceramic mirrors and an expansion of his lighting collection to all the brand’s clay colours. Nodding to the Memphis movement with their geometric shapes, the mirrors nevertheless feel calm, thanks to amore muted palette.

MAGIC TOUCH

We visited the Occhio showroom at London Design Festival in September and let us tell you , this brand makes lighting look like magic. Lamps are controllable at the move of a hand, bulbs can be dimmed and colour temperature changed with a f lick of the wrist – this is serious stuff. We particularly loved the new Luna series, the moon-inspired designs that appear to f loat in the air.
