FRED SIRIEIX

Celebrated maître d’ and TV host Fred Sirieix

Men’s Fitness: At 51, you’re in great shape. Has your training changed over the years?

Fred Sirieix: I train five to six days a week. I do a minimum of 20 minutes, but normally 40 minutes to an hour. I change and mix up my routine, because diversity is good for me and my body. The same things get very boring.

MF: You travel a lot, so how do you stay active on the move?

FS: A lot of my training involves the basics of boxing. I could be in a small room, but I can do my shadow boxing and so many different exercises, like running on the spot. Shadow boxing is amazing for fitness and cardio. It’s good for the legs, bum, shoulders and posture. It’s also good for focus; I do it aggressively, as if I’m really fighting someone.
