Mini World Magazine
28 October 2014

The annual MiniWorld Action Day at Castle Combe is a chance for we Mini owners to get out on a race track and push our Minis harder than we can on the public roads. Plus it's a great day out with plenty to do when off the circuit. For me it's a an opportunity to meet some of our readers and also some of our feature Minis in the fl esh. You can see our pics from the fantastic day on pages 84-87. It's way overdue but we fi nally got the chance to put one of the fab Minis restored by Scott Turner on the cover of MiniWorld. The stunning 1963 1071cc Mk1 Cooper S is yet another superb example from Scott and I'm sure you'll agree that it looks amazing. Paul Easter won the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally as co-driver with Timo Makinen. Paul had already made his name in Mini motorsport by this time and he tells all about his fantastic rally career inside this issue. See pages 96-105. As we approach Christmas we are starting to think about gifts for our Mini friends so we have a huge Hardware section, which is full of gift ideas and Christmas goodies (see page 42). I hope you enjoy the issue.
