Reversible forward benches open up lots of extra space aft

Galeon is showing several new models at Boot Düsseldorf this year including a 440 Fly and G 405 HTS but it’s this 560 Fly that is likely to make the biggest splash. Designed to deliver all the party tricks of the award-winning 500 but with yet more space, luxury and customisation, it should be quite a package.

The main deck comes with a pair of fold-out terraces that add a couple of metres to the beam. The large aft galley is in the perfect place to service any guests who choose to use these deck extensions – and there’s also a central C-shaped cockpit dinette, ahead of a big hydraulic platform.

Further forward, the bow area is split between a large forward-facing bench and a walkaround sundeck with elevating backrests. But if you want to recline up top instead, the flybridge is a full-scale affair, running all the way from the lower helm to the aft cockpit’s stern bench - and again, the space is put to very good use...

It features a forward sun lounger to port of the steering console, plus a couple of twin helm benches. Reversible backrests enable these benches to face aft, integrating them as part of the C-shaped dining units that face each other across the central companionway.
