Triumph Speed Triple RS

£15,795 | 1160cc | 198kg (kerb) | 177.5bhp | 830mm seat height

A full-on super-naked, the RS is the most aggressive and sporty Speed Triple to date. It’s on track, where you can really appreciate the 1200’s brilliance. The acceleration out of corners makes it feel like you’ve hit the fast-forward button and the Triumph carves through turns with the grace and balance of a well set-up race bike.

Triumph Street Triple RS

£11,495 | 765cc | 188kg (kerb) | 128.2bhp | 836mm seat height

The top-spec Street Triple is basically a supersport bike with flat bars. As well as fully-adjustable Öhlins suspension, you get a Daytona-derived chassis, Brembo brakes and all the electronics you could ever need. It’s simply phenomenal!

Royal Enfield HNTR 350

£3899 | 349cc | 181kg (kerb) | 20.8bhp | 790mm seat height

The Hunter 350 (or HNTR) is a small and nippy naked bike that is cheap to both buy and run. Powered by an air-cooled single, it is light, agile and charming. Enfield have tuned the fuel injection to give a lively feel on the throttle, and quote a top speed of 71mph, which is actually achieved in fourth gear and not top (fifth). And at £59.48 a month, it’s a steal.

If you don’t favour the ‘graffiti’ graphic look, the Hypermotard 698 Mono comes in plain red for £11,167. Adding a quickshifter (standard on the RVE) will cost you £242.35.

Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono RVEDucati Hypermotard

£12,067 | 659cc | 151kg (wet) | 76.4bhp | 904mm seat height £12,067

We love the fact that Ducati have released a bike that, let’s be honest, is completely impractical and essentially just a two-wheeled toy. But who cares? We absolutely adore the new Hypermotard for the fact it is so focused on being entertaining and fun.

Powered by the all-new Superquadro Mono motor (basically a 1299 Panigale motor minus a cylinder) the Hypermotard makes an impressive 76.4bhp with 46.5lb.ft of torque and features titanium valves, a desmo system and stacks of attitude.

And all this in a package that weighs in at just 163kg. Talk about a recipe for fun!

The chassis has been designed to allow the rider to enjoy the bends and includes all the tech you’d expect to find on a superbike, such as riding modes, cornering ABS and TC, anti-wheelie (which can be turned off), launch control and even heated grips (as an extra). And, believe it or not, the Hypermotard can be made A2-legal for new riders.

While there is a standard Hypermotard 698 (see Hot Pick), the RVE stands out. Featuring a black fra
