Want lush roads and top tucker? Look no further

You’ll be forgiven if you miss Monster Road Café as you head along the B4325 as the roads in this part of Wales are fantastic, especially if you head on towards St Davids. But what might catch your eye instead is the dealership which the café sits outside.

“Celtic Scooters &Motorcycles has been going since 2012,” says owner and founder Alun Williams. “I always wanted to have somewhere people could have food, and we couldn’t do that at our previous premises.

“But seven years ago, we came here, and we had the café – and Wendy who does our catering has been with me since day one. It’s a small operation – me, Paul, Wendy, and Hooch, but there are beautiful roads around here, and we’d really like this to be a destination.”

On the menu are a selection of breakfasts – ‘single cylinder’ dishes up one of everything, ‘twin cylinder’ dishes up two of everything, and for a three-barrel breakfast opt for the ‘Rocket 3’. But Wendy also makes lasagnes, chilli con carne and curries which always go down a treat.”
