Party At The Palace

Head to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire to enjoy a whole clutch of egg-citing activities in the Walled Garden including circus skills, balloon modelling, bubble performances, bungee trampolines and a vintage variety show.

Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny throughout the weekend, and the traditional egg hunt around the grounds. An adult ticket to the Park and Gardens costs £28 and £13.50 for children aged 3-16. Top up to £38 (£22 for kids) for unlimited visits throughout 2024. www.blenheimpalace.com

Fun On The Farm

Willows Activity Farm in Hertfordshire is a perfect day out for younger children with tractor rides and farm animals to meet.

At the Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground, discover the Great Invention Sensory game and meet characters of the CBeebies series Peter Rabbit and Friends, based on the works by Beatrix Potter.

From March 30-April 14 there’s an egg hunt, Easter Grotto, crafts, pig racing and lamb bottle feeding demonstrations. Day ticket prices start at £12.95. www.willowsactivityfarm.com

Calling Chocaholics!

Have a go at making your own delicious Easter eggs at this fabulous workshop running until the end of March at La Chocolatrice, Coxhoe, County Durham.

Each attendee can try their hand at creating and decorating two chocolate eggs as well as the chocolatier’s signature “bunny in a bath” chocolate – all while indulging in the shop’s own produce and hot chocolate, of course!

Each workshop lasts 90-120 minutes, costs £70 per person, and all creations can be taken home to share… or enjoy yourself! Six attendees per workshop, but bigger groups can be accommodated and booked separately. www.lachocolatrice.co.uk

Easter At Eden

Spring has certainly sprung at the Eden Project in Cornwall, where visitors can view the native spring flowers and learn more about horticulture and the environment.

On top of the usual extensive Outdoor Gardens, biomes, contemporary artworks, performance and storytelling, from April 1-16, there will be extra Easter-themed events.

Get Set, Grow! is the theme of this year’s Easter at Eden, and playful challenges have been set up to let the whole family have fun and learn more about how we can grow and eat
