Strawberry Season!

Although we dutifully eat fruit all year round, things only really get exciting once the British soft fruits season kicks off in spring, which can only mean strawberries! The queen of fruits is synonymous with Wimbledon, but no need to wait till then. Buy British (preferably from Scotland, where strawberries grow even tastier!) and enjoy with a sprinkling of sugar and some thick double cream. Truly, strawberries are the taste of summer, so the sooner you start eating them, the quicker the sun will come out.
