Pay More On A Sunny Day?

Is bumping up ticket prices on sunny days just greedy? The Merlin group, owner of attractions including Alton Towers and LEGOLAND, has said it’s introducing dynamic pricing. This is a tactic often used by airlines and hotels. It means prices can shoot up at popular times and fall if bookings are slow.

Gift Card Scams

Watch out for a gift card scam from the US. I spoke about it on BBC Breakfast and I’m now hearing of cases in the UK. Fraudsters take cards from shop displays, scratch off the strip to reveal the code, then put them back with a new silver strip.
