Float Fun

I came across this photo from 1979 and it brought back warm memories. My best friend, Jackie (the bee), and I (the ladybird, next to the bee and gnome) were part of the Newbury annual carnival with our float on the theme of “At the Bottom of the Garden”. I loved every moment and when we were awarded first prize, it topped off the perfect day.

Birthday Treat

Here I am with my lovely daughter, Danielle. For her birthday, I treated her to a special spa day at a local hotel. Danielle is such a caring person and has been doing extra hours at the local hospice where she works. It can get stressful at times, so the a treatments, swim and Prosecco were very reciated. I also really enjoyed the day, as it treat for me to spend the day with my ul daughter.
