Christmas Haven

For me, Christmas starts with a visit to my local garden centre, where I can take my pick of every Christmas decoration imaginable. Their original ideas, such as this upside-down Christmas tree suspended from the ceiling, are inspiring. My imagination is pricked with all their amazing Christmas creations. Last year, my daughter placed cut-out soldiers made from three-ply wood and painted by her in my communal garden. She’s so clever!

Christmas Coats

I love walks with my sister. Nearer to Christmas, the horses in our local fields in Great Leighs don their Christmas coats. I hope they get some Christmas treats, too.

Thoughtful Gift

Favourite Season

My mum loves Christmas and getting her photo taken in front of Christmas trees. Here she is at a motorway service station in her favourite Christmas jumper, which she will be wearing right through until January. She is on her way to a Turkey and Tinsel week at Warners Holidays , which she loves because she says it makes Christmas last longer.
