If you’ve got family and friends over for Christmas, here are some ways to enjoy some of the latest movies and TV shows for free,

Sign up now and it will last you until early New Year. But remember to cancel or you’ll end up paying a monthly subscription – set a reminder on your phone or calendar.

◆ Disney Plus. This is a great one for all the family and you can snap up a three month subscription if you shop at Tesco. Swapping £12 of Clubcard vouchers gets you a 3-month membership (usual cost £7.99).

◆ BritBox UK. The site for all those classic “watch again” TV box sets, you can enjoy a free 7-day trial before its monthly £5.99 fee kicks in. If you time it right, you could have free shows to last over Christmas.
