Birthday Wishes

Much-loved and missed

Last year would have been my dad’s 100th birthday. This is me and him when I was about Seven. He was a much-loved granddad, dad, husband, son, brother, uncle and Liverpool Supporter!

Feathered friend

Here is a photo of our regular winter visitor. She is looking very cagey as she waits for a meal to arrive. What a beauty, though!

Super cruisers

My husband, Dave, and I both took early retirement from our jobs last year. We had a lovely Greek cruise recently. A very kind lady asked if we’d like a photo together in Santorini!

Time Of My Life

Lift off

Dirty Dancing is my favourite film. I have seen it over 40 times on the screen or on stage. On my 50th birthday, I had a party and my friends recreated the final lift scene. Luckily, they did not drop me. It was exhilarating, and I certainly had “the time of my life”!

Feeling Crabby

Claws for thought

My wife and I took our girls to the Natural History Museum in London, and we all had a brilliant time. They were fascinated with all the animals, but my daughter’s favourites were the giant spiders, insects and crabs. We were so surprised when she asked if they could take this one out of the cabinet for a cuddle. Her mum would have run a mile!

Oscar tango!

This is Oscar, our red fox Labrador puppy, who is six months old. He’s having a fantastic time at doggy school and can’t wait to get there to see his other doggy friends.
