Here’s To Petra!
This is my dad’s dog, Petra, enjoying a drink of doggy “beer” and a cuddle. She’s nearly 14 now, so we think she can do whatever she likes. Please don’t judge her!

Cold Snap Tap Wrap
During the recent cold spell, I was worried about my outside tap freezing up. So, I made it a nice warm coat, wrapping bubble wrap around it tightly and covering it with a lot of newspaper and a small plastic bag, and taped it up securely. Bingo! This is what it looks like.

Not So Long Ago
These old tractors joining the parade at Burwarton Show made me feel vintage. I used to drive similar models when I first was a farmer’s lad long ago.

STARLETTER Put On A Smile
This is my late grandmother Edie, dressed in her duster coat, hat, gloves and fancy handbag, But the loveliest thing she always wore was her warm and sunny smile.

Meet The Fur-oah
My son and I recently visited Abu Simbel Temple in Egypt while on holiday. Once there, this enchanting local caught our eye.

That Holiday Feeling
Seeing this picture from a holiday with a lifelike gorilla bought back happy memories and made me realise how wonderful holidays are. I’ve now booked my next one!

Far Flung Fan
Here is a photo of my Uncle Billy, who will soon be 90 years young. He was born in Burnley, Lancashire in England but emigrated to Australia in the 1960s. I have been fortunate to have had several wonderful holidays in Australia with him and my dear aunty, and found him inspirational. He is always cheerful and still loves socialising and family time and supporting Burnley Football club on TV wearing his football scarf and cap.
