“I’m a professional make-up artist with 27 years’ experience and when I got to 60, I noticed that there weren’t many pro make-up artists targeting the over-40 age range. I had so many blemishes and such oily skin as a teen, and I’ve worked on my skin to correct some of the pigmentation and so on. Now I’m sharing what I love!”

My top three beauty hacks

◆ Make your face wash last longer by using a konjac sponge. You need half as much product, so it lasts twice as long.

◆ Double the life of your lip colour by colouring your entire lip with lip liner, adding lipstick over the top, then a touch of liquid lipstick. All products should be the same or similar shade. This will last even when you eat and drink!

◆ Refresh your make-up with a facial mist. In summer, when you’re melting, a light spritz of facial mist will rehydrate your skin and make-up and everything will look fresh again!
