Creature Comfort
I was excited to get to hold a hedgehog for the first time at a petting farm. He wasn’t as prickly as I magined he’d be, and VERY cute.

Hats The Way!
Here is my Uncle George on his wedding day in 1918 with his new wife and sister-in-law. Money was tight and I believe the sisters trimmed their hats themselves.

Jack Back In Action
This is my husband, Ray, putting up our Union Jack back up in our garden. We always have it there but like to put a festive flag over winter. We then change it back. It’s good to see which way the wind is blowing on wash day, to peg our washing the right way. Ray looks quite proud of it!

Herd Hedging Their Bets
My best friend Karen has a herd of really cute alpacas, who she absolutely adores. Here are all six of them pictured lined up at the “all day breakfast bar”.

Christmas Collie
This is our eight-year-old border collie, Rudolph. He was born on Christmas day, and loves swimming and playing with our cat. He is very loving and loyal.

Lasting Friendship
This cele m
is my friend Dorothy (on the right) and myself brating 80 years of friendship last year. We et at school in 1943 and soon became friends with a shared interest in swimming, cinema, and theatre. Later, due to work and marriage, we didn’t see much of each other, but we met up whenever possible. Now we both live in this lovely town (Felixstowe) since retirement and meet for nostalgic chats, coffee and meals etc. Dorothy still swims and plays golf and, with ck, this September at the great age of 92, we reach 81 years as friends. How fortunate are ?

Here is a photo of my Easter display. I bought all the stuff from charity shops and the pound shop. What do you think?
