The Feb-March 2021 issue of Africa’s greatest magazine, New African provides plenty of quality, enjoyable reading for these lockdown days. The cover story explores the rise of African writing on the global stage and our soccer profiles includes a study of the controversial Mario Balotelli. But we don’t shy away from the grimmer aspects such as the conflict in Ethiopia or the rise and rise of terrorism in Africa. As a counterpoint, our ongoing campaign to improve education in Africa looks at vocation-focussed training as well as some outstanding young, female scientists. All in all, a great read.
