I t’s been nearly 13 years since Geordie Shorefirst hit screens, gripping fans as it followed the lives of a group of Newcastle’s wildest, no-filter 20-somethings. Now, the show is back for its 24th season, and things are slightly different this time around as we follow the crew for a Cypriot getaway.

Chatting exclusively to new, show veterans Chloe Ferry and Marnie Simpson describe this series as one of the best yet. “This time, you get to see our real lives, everything is much more personal,” admits Chloe.

I don’t enjoy watching myself on TV, but it will be nice to watch us all back together again.

Did having partners and children there change the dynamic?Marnie: Yeah, for example, Charlotte Crosby’s partner Jake [Ankers] didn’t like filming, so that put a lot of pressure on her which must have been hard. For me, Casey loved it and was in his element! I really enjoyed meeting some of the boys’ girlfriends as well. Everyone was really protective of the kids being there. It makes you a lot more vulnerable bringing your children into that environment. I was really scared of judgement because as
