With two daughters under the age of three and another baby on the way, former Love Islander Camilla Thurlow has her hands full.

But while she clearly takes motherhood in her stride, there’s one person Camilla knows she can rely on for support – and that’s “brilliant dad” Jamie Jewitt, 33, her husband of two and a half years.

Despite the pair falling in love in front of millions of people on the ITV reality show back in 2017, Camilla, 34, is now pretty tight-lipped when it comes to talking about her personal life.

So, when new gets the opportunity to catch up with her about how she’s feeling ahead of the arrival of baby number three this spring, we jump at the chance.

“It’s such an exciting time – I just hope the baby is a good sleeper,” Camilla, who is already mum to Nell, three, and 20-month-old Nora, tells us.

“Jamie is a great dad. He’s got the dad jokes, the dad games, the dad tickle monster, everything,” she laughs.

Camilla and Jamie announced on Instagram in December that they were expecting a third baby – and this time it’s a boy. In the post, they wrote, “Our lovely girls are getting a baby brother! Delighted to share our little family is growing, baby boy due in spring 2024, it’s going to be a busy house!”

Here, Camilla lifts the lid on her lifestyle a million miles away from her time on Love Island, juggling a tricky sleep schedule, and why she wouldn’t change any of it for the world.

Hi, Camilla. Congratulations on your lovely news!

Thank you, it’s a very exciting time for us. I’m also a little nervous because it feels like things are moving very quickly.

When I was expecting the girls, it felt like time moved a little slower, so I’m not quite prepared yet. I’ve not washed any baby clothes or packed them away in drawers, but I’m sure it’ll come together. There’s a few practical things I need to tick off my list soon, but time just seems to be disappearing.

You’ve done it twice before, so you’ve got experience…

[Laughs] Exactly. And I’ve come to realise that you don’t need as much stuff as you think. As long as we’ve got the essentials, that’s fine. All a tiny baby really needs is lots of love – and we’ve got a house full of it.

And we hear it
