With rumours circulating that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is to join a Suits spin-off show, how would Prince Harry feel about his wife going back to acting?

As rumours gather pace that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is set to join a reboot of the show that made her famous, a royal expert has told new that Prince Harry would find it “challenging” to see his wife back on TV, particularly if it involved her filming sex scenes.

Last week it was reported that Meghan has landed her “dream role” in a Suits spin-off series, called Suits: Los Angeles and that the show will “feature a female lead who bears an uncanny resemblance to Meghan’s previous character Rachel Zane, which has been “tailor made” for her.

While Meghan has yet to publicly confirm or deny the news, royal author Tessa Dunlop, who wrote Elizabeth And Philip: A Story Of Young Love, Marriage And Monarchy said that if it’s true, Prince Harry will struggle with it because he’s “only human”.

Harry, 39, admitted himself in his memoir, Spare, that when they first met, he found it hard to watch Meghan get up close and personal with male co-stars on screen and how it put him off ever visiting her on set in Toronto, Canada.

He wrote, “I’d made the mistake of googling and watching some of her love scenes online. I’d witnessed her and a cast mate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room… It would take electric shock therapy to get those images out of my head. I didn’t need to see such things live.”

Tessa said, “Harry, for understandable reasons, would be worried about Meghan going back into Suits and appearing in love scenes like she has before. He has admitted it was hard for him to watch before. He’s only human and wouldn’t want to have to watch her in intimate scenes with other men.”

Tessa also claimed that one of the main issues for Harry, who lives in California with Meghan and their children Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, is that he doesn’t have a clear career of his own.

“Harry’s not part of the acting fraternity,” Tessa claimed. “He won’t get it in the same way as he’s not from that background. Harry doesn’t belong to that world. The problem is if Meghan does return to Suits, what does Harry do? My worry for Harry is he doesn’t have a trade. His trade is being a prince. His two careers – being in the military and being in the royal family – are over.”
