Vanessa Feltz is embarrassed by ex Ben Ofoedu’s recent comments, a source tells new

Just as Vanessa Feltz said she felt “settled enough” to spend her first night alone since her split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu, she’s been hit with more humiliation and hurt.
A source told new the telly star, 61, was “mortified” after Ben publicly said he wanted to date her pal Ulrika Jonsson, and called Vanessa out for not acknowledging him when he was on a night out with his reported new girlfriend.
After 16 years with Phats & Small singer Ben, 51, Vanessa was hit hard by their split and has spoken openly about her heartbreak after discovering via social media on Christmas Day 2022 that he had cheated on her while touring with his band.
“Ben’s behaviour is humiliating for Vanessa, but she’s stronger than ever at the moment and can pick herself back up from anything,” our source claimed.
“She’s spent a long time in shock after their break-up, she couldn’t think of anything more ghastly than a night in on her own. But now she’s realised she’s so much better off by herself than in a relationship with Ben.”
The pair narrowly avoided an uncomfortable run-in at a West End theatre event recently, where Ben was joined by the rumoured new lady in his life, reality TV star Precious Muir, 34.
Despite a source saying at the time that Vanessa had “no idea” her ex was also there, Ben stated on his social media the next day, “Reportedly, she saw me and it’s a shame she didn’t come up and say hello.”
According to sex and relationship expert Annabelle Knight, Ben’s public reprimand was likely to be a deflection tactic from the negative attention he’s had following his infidelities.
“By calling Vanessa out, he’s drawing attention to her so-called poor behaviour and deflecting from his own, but I wouldn’t say ignoring an ex is poor behaviour,” she told new.
“If Vanessa did do this, she probably did it to protect her own mental health because it’s really difficult seeing your ex-partner, especially at an event where you have to put on a brave front.”
Ben also dragged Vanessa into more gossip during an interview with former Apprenticestar Ryan-Mark Parsons.
As well as joking about his social media habits, saying, “I always reply to all my DMs, that’s why I’m in this trouble,” he name-checked his two celebrity crushes – actress Sheridan Smith and presenter Ulrika Jonsson.
