Love Islander Anton Danyluk’s mum Sherie Ann on why she’s ready to put down the razor

He’s been hailed as the “knight in shining armour” of Love Island: All Stars, but has Anton Danyluk found his perfect match in the villa? According to his mum Sherie Ann, it may be a case of “time will tell”.
Chatting exclusively to new, the 59-year-old business owner tells us, “Anton is showing his true self in the villa and his maturity. He always finds himself in slow-burn relationships and won’t give up on something easily, as he’s shown with Georgia.”
Airdrie-born businessman Anton, 29, first rose to fame on Love Island in 2019 and found a partner in ex-girlfriend Belle Hassan. Now, he’s back on the dating show for round two, in the hope of finding lasting love.
Sherie Ann has been by Anton’s side throughout the whole journey and even got a mention during his first ever ITV2 appearance five years ago – with Anton famously quipping, “My mum shaves my bum.”
This time around, Anton coupled up with co-star Georgia Harrison, also 29, and the duo have seen multiple twists and turns in their relationship. So what does Anton’s mum think of his on-screen romantic escapades?
Here, Sherie Ann tells us her thoughts on whether Georgia is The One, why she’s ready for Anton to settle down and have children, and whether she is still on shaving duty…
Hi Sherie Ann! How do you think Anton has been doing in the villa?
He’s been so genuine and absolutely himself, which I love. It looks to me like he hasn’t really been involved in the drama or any of that stuff in the villa. He seems to be taking himself away from situations. I think the level of integrity and maturity of some of the people in there has just blown Anton’s mind and he has retracted into his own bubble. It’s like he has outgrown the show a little bit, but he’s doing really well and seems to be enjoying it.
What do you think of his partner, Georgia Harrison?
I think… it’s tough. I think that time will tell. We will just have to wait and see if she’s genuine or not, I’m not sure yet. I think I’d need to meet her because I’m a very touchy person and go off how someone is when you’re around them. I need to feel their presence.
