Danielle Lloyd and her husband have gone to great lengths to protect their family after a gang broke into their home and stole items worth six figures.

The thieves targeted the former WAG’s Birmingham home in October and, amid the news she’s reportedly been told it could have been the same people who burgled the home of Manchester City player Jack Grealish in December, a source told new Danielle is scared for her children’s safety.

The break-in reportedly left the former Celebrity Big Brother star, 40, and her husband Michael O’Neill so shaken they have since sold the property and moved somewhere new.

“It’s been a really scary time for Danielle and the family,” our source said. “They already had a really solid security system, so when they saw footage of the burglars breaking into their house, it all came as a bit of shock and wasn’t nice to see.

“Since the ordeal, Danielle and her family have moved house to a new area and have really ramped up the security on their house.”

Terrified Danielle is thought to believe the thieves had been closely watching her movements in the lead-up to the break-in, and knew she was out of the house with Michael and the kids when they smashed their way into her home. Police were automatically tipped off, according to reports, when Danielle’s home security system alerted them – and her – that there was someone inside the house.

Danielle is mum to Ronnie, six, and Autumn, two, whose father is Michael, and Archie, 13, Harry, 12, and George, 10, from her relationship with former footballer Jamie O’Hara.

Our source said her new home, which she has kept off her social media, has even tighter security systems in place.

“It’s shaken up the family a lot – particularly the children,” the source claimed. “Danielle has been scared for the children. It’s a lot for them to take. It’s really affected her too and she’s being more private about where she’s going and what she’s doing.”

The gang, who reportedly made off with luxury items including a £20,000 Cartier gold bracelet and a Richard Mille watch worth around £100,000 as well as a bank card, are also being linked in reports to an attack on the home of England ace Jack Grealish, 28.
