If anyone is living life to the fullest these days, it’s Vanessa Feltz. And she certainly deserves it after being left “betrayed and panic stricken” just over a year ago.

In late 2022 – on Christmas Day, to be exact – the 62-year-old had her heart broken when it emerged that her fiancé of 16 years, singer Ben Ofoedu, had cheated on her. She vowed to her fans, “I am not going to let this defeat me.”

Now, fast forward 14 months and Vanessa has stayed true to her word. In fact, she’s jumping head first into the dating world and making her happiness a priority.

“Vanessa is just enjoying being out there on the dating scene right now, she’s going on the odd date but there’s nothing too serious going on with anyone,” a source exclusively told us. “She’s having fun and men love her.”

Vanessa first locked eyes with musician Ben, 51, in 2005 and their whirlwind romance saw them get engaged after just one year of dating. The couple originally planned to tie the knot the following year, but never made it down the aisle.

In January, Vanessa confirmed their split in a raw and revealing video message to fans, saying, “I feel incredibly sad and I’m pretty disappointed.”

Since then, the TV star has been adjusting to single life and even revealed that she had “more than 385 nights out in a row” before she was ready to spend a night alone.

However, with the initial rawness of her painful split firmly behind her, Vanessa is shouting about her freedom from the rooftops. She even joked that being without a man doesn’t mean she’s celibate.

“Oh, I’m not living without sex. B****y hell!,” she previously said. “I don’t think celibate is ever going to be something you can associate with me. But as a lady, extremely refined, I can’t go further than that. Let’s just say... furrows have been ploughed.”

The Talk TV presenter went on to explain that the older people get, the more people assume that they no longer like sex – a myth she was very keen to dispel.

“If you liked chocolate mousse before, you’ll still like chocolate mousse. If you loved sex, you’ll still love sex. You don’t suddenly have a yearning to knit a jumper or bake a pie,” she laughed.

And, as she embraces single life, Vanessa is at the very centre of many a suitor’s attention, according to our source.
