Celebs pull out all the stops for parties – and their baby showers are no exception

They do tend to go all out when throwing a party – and it’s no different when celebrities are celebrating the imminent arrival of their little ones.
Some can be seriously imaginative too, like reality star Charlotte Crosby, who had actual drag queens perform at her 2022 baby shower. And it was a pretty wild affair by all accounts, wrapping up at around 4am!
Most mere mortals have a baby shower at home with a couple of fun games, a few bottles of prosecco and some nibbles, but celebs like to take it a bit further.
Here, we look at some of the stars who went the extra mile – and probably spent silly amounts of money – for their fabulous and quirky blow-out baby showers…
KIM KARDASHIAN
Kim is a bit of a pro when it comes to baby showers, so when it was time to celebrate her fourth child, Psalm, in 2019 with her ex-husband Kanye West, she knew just how to make a splash.
When friends and family gathered at her vast, minimalist home, they were greeted by a CBD-fest. There was a CBD bar, where people could make their own CBD-infused bath salts and body oils (of course there was!), a tea station, flower arranging and slippers provided by Kanye’s Yeezy line. Guests were also treated to a group meditation and sound baths.
Beat that, we dare you!
OLLY MURS
Dad-to-be Olly, who announced his wife Amelia was pregnant last December, dressed up earlier this month as a sausage roll – as you do – to surprise Amelia with a Greggs-themed baby shower.
The singer and former The Voice UKjudge could be seen tucking into a Greggs pastry, with packaging bearing the slogan “satisfying your pastry cravings”. There were also napkins emblazoned with “Preggs – The Murs the merrier”.
We wonder what kind of amazing parties will be in store when Olly, who loves posting humorous videos and pranks with Amelia on his social media, becomes a dad!
