D avid Potts might be best known for his reality TV stints, but the Celebrity Big Brother favourite has also set his sights on a brand new career. The 30-year-old first rose to fame on Ibiza Weekender in 2016 and later its successor Kavos Weekender – which follows contestants in their twenties as they spend time at a Greek hotel resort.

But the star has been thriving on CBB and forming friendships with the likes of Louis Walsh, Strictly pro dancer Nikita Kuzmin, and former Love Islandstar Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu.

In fact, before even heading into the house, David admitted to being a “natural born leader” and compared himself to Mufasa from The Lion King. He later enthusiastically added that he’s “large, in charge, taking over, and ready for it”.

Now, according to a source, as David emerges as a clear favourite with the public, he could be set for further stardom once he emerges from the CBB house.

Fans of the show have described David as “absolute comedy gold” ever since he entered the show, and one moment in particular – that included the jockey race challenge – left them in hysterics.

One fan wrote on social media, “David Potts just take the win right now,” while someone else said, “Couldn’t live with David. Nope, no way, sorry.”

In fact, his fellow CBB housemate Sharon Osbourne even agrees. She said, “He’s so entertaining and funny, he is a good guy,” before going on to joke that David is like a moth to the flame when it comes to the camera, knowing exactly how to turn it on.

As his popularity soars, it appears that there’s one coveted programme that David wants to add to his entertainment credits – and that’s ITV’s daytime show This Morning.

“There’s been a lot of interest from TV execs about things post CBB, but he’d love a segment on This Morningand viewers would love his bubbly personality,” the source said.

It’s no secret that This Morninghas had a bit of a shake-up in recent months and has had a re
